Another successful show!
For the past few years, UVAA's Douglas County "All Student Art Show" has offered this public display of its ongoing and continual support of Arts in Education by showcasing the artwork done by Douglas County students grades K through 12th.
Much of what you will see in this exhibit, encompassing every wall in every gallery space, has been created with the help of UVAA's team of Art Express Artist volunteers who team up with the Arts Center and go out into the far reaches of Douglas County on a daily and weekly basis to get "our" kids inspired, motivated and just plain old working on creative projects.
Thank you to Marie Rasmussen for her ongoing dedication to head up the successful UVAA Art Express program.
UVAA also sponsors an ongoing Artist in Residence program within the Douglas County area schools; many projects of which will be exhibited.
Also, thank you to Linda Smith Craft who continually volunteers to keep kids art in the building! Make sure to step into the Student Gallery to see the current exhibit!
